Extensive training in general surgery before returning to urology, firstly as a
registrar and then as senior registrar at the Institute of Urology in London.
Wide-ranging operative experience, with special interests in stone surgery,
prostatic surgery and urodynamics (functional aspects of lower urinary tract
disorders, including incontinence).
A thesis from the University of London and broad experience in research.
An interest in clinical research as a consultant, having run a research
program for many years.
Busy clinical practice in a busy area, serving a combined population of over
400,000. Research interests in benign prostatic hyperplasia, stone disease,
continence disorders and prostatitis.
Consultancy to the European Union and manufacturers of urological equipment.
